Approximately 743,000 employees in the UK have taken long-term absence in the last 12 months due to mental health issues. We have now entered a new era, where it is fully understood, to have a high-performing company, resilient and healthy employees will play a crucial role.
Before training to become a psychotherapist I spent 10 years working with partners and senior directors for various FMCG and professional services organisations.
What I quickly noticed is for a company to be truly successful we need leaders who are authentic, emotionally intelligent and able to respond skilfully under pressure.
It is apposite given the current circumstance of 2020, that now more than ever we need leaders who provide clarity in this environment of growing uncertainty, whilst inspiring confidence and motivation in their own team and across the organisation.
My mission is to collaborate and educate companies on how to best support their employees with their mental health needs. There are a panoply of ways in which I can help companies to respond to these complex issues.
